How we work
What does end-to-end delivery include?
End-to-end delivery means Aliencode Tech owns every stage of the project: scoping, architecture, build, deployment and ongoing operation. There is no handoff gap between a consultancy that wrote the spec, an agency that built it and a third party that has to run it, which is where most software projects quietly fail.
Scope
We sit with the people who will actually use the system, not only the people paying for it. Requirements come back as something you can read and disagree with.
Architect
Data model, integration boundaries and hosting decided before a line of production code exists, and chosen for what you can maintain, not what is fashionable.
Build
Short cycles against a working deployment. You see the real thing early and often, so course corrections stay cheap.
Deploy
Provisioning, migration, cutover and user onboarding, onto your infrastructure or onto hardware we supply and configure. Penetration tested in-house before it faces real users.

Where a system needs the machine as well as the software, we can supply that too: the same team specifies, builds and configures the workstations and servers it runs on, so an on-premise deployment stays one contract and one accountable party.

- What does a custom software project cost?
- Custom software is quoted per project after scoping. Price is driven by the number of distinct workflows, the integrations required, and whether we host the system or deploy into your infrastructure. We provide a fixed written quotation before work begins, and we accept multiple payment currencies and methods.
- How long does a custom software build take?
- It depends on scope, and we will not know yours until we have scoped it. A focused internal tool is usually a matter of weeks; a multi-module platform with external integrations is longer. What we will commit to is a dated delivery schedule in the proposal, agreed before work begins, rather than an open-ended engagement.
- Who owns the code that Aliencode Tech writes?
- Ownership is agreed in the proposal rather than assumed either way, and we set it out before you commit. In most engagements the client takes ownership of the work commissioned, and transfer of source code, documentation and deployment runbooks is available and commonly agreed. Where a build reuses components we already own, those are licensed to you rather than assigned, and we say which ones up front. What we do not do is hold a finished system hostage behind a runtime you have to keep paying for.
- Can you supply the hardware as well as the software?
- Yes. Where a system is better off on a machine of its own, the same team specifies, builds and configures it, from a single workstation to a rack. That matters most for on-premise deployments, where the software, the hardware and the data residency obligations all have to line up, and it keeps the whole delivery under one contract instead of splitting it between a software vendor and a hardware reseller.
- Can you take over an existing codebase?
- Yes. We take over existing systems, including ones left behind by a previous vendor. The first step is a technical audit that determines what should be kept, what should be rewritten, and what it will cost, before you commit.
- Do you provide support after launch?
- Yes. Ongoing support covers security patching, platform updates, monitoring and a named channel for issues, under an agreed response time. Support is a separate line item so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
- Can you meet Singapore government procurement requirements?
- Yes. We are a Singapore-registered company (UEN 202506409C) and have delivered public-sector tenders requiring IT security specifications, statements of compliance, audit-trail retention and data-disposal obligations.
- What technologies do you build with?
- Whatever genuinely fits the problem. We pick the stack per project rather than fitting every client to the one we happen to like, and we weight that choice towards mature, well-supported technology, because someone has to maintain the system for years after launch. If your team already runs a stack, that usually wins on its own.
- Do you sign NDAs before discussing a project?
- Yes. We sign non-disclosure agreements before commercial or technical discussions, and we handle client material as confidential by default. Our staff are trained in handling sensitive data.
